I went on to teacher tube and watched a video about our weight in comparison to the earths radius, i would not use this in an early childhood classroom, however it does give a great visual for students who are learning about this stuff. (i tried to RSS it but it would not let me become a member)

i had an art teacher who used a regular projector, and had us use it to trace the outlines of some of our more complex paintings...using something old for a new purpose...

this site, as previousy stated, contains all sorts of educational software for a range of ages. these programs cover most teaching criteria. all of the products that i looked at spicifically meet both state and national standards and seemed to live up to the criteria listed on the check list in our text book.
